When considering how to choose the best lobster company to serve your lobster bakes, lobster tails, surf & turf, meat crab, appetizers, clambake, fresh, steamed, dinner, bisque, chowder, luxury, how to cook and shellfish needs, go online and do your research. Find out lobster recipes, how to make gourmet food featuring lobster, how to properly cook lobster and how to serve lobster, such as hot or cold. You can even find desserts with lobster as the main ingredient. Search local restaurants and check out their websites. You can purchase gift certificates online, browse menus, get the company's background, make online reservations and inquire about market prices for seafood such as lobster meat and tails, lobster bakes, surf & turf, sea scallops, crab, surf and turf and live lobster. The best way to find out if a restaurant serves great lobster at a great price is to just check it out. Make reservations, observe the restaurant for cleanliness of the facility, speed of seating, accommodating wait staff, quality of service and quality of food. Consider whether the restaurant is a national chain or locally owned and operated. Compare your experiences at other seafood restaurants to determine the best place for lobster. If you go to a fish market or grocery store, try the lobster at a few different places. Call ahead to place your order first. Make sure your order is ready to go when you get there and that the lobster is prepared the way you want it, whether cooked or live. If you're not sure, ask the staff for lobster preparation tips and recipes for your lobster bake. Before choosing lobster, keep in mind the shop's or restaurant's hours, market prices, lobster availability and quality of service.
A lobster is an edible marine crustacean with stalked eyes, long antenna, and five pairs of legs. They are invertebrates, meaning they do not have a backbone. The front pair of a lobster's legs are called pincers, or claws. Lobsters use one claw from crushing and the other for feeding. Many people consider lobsters to be delicious, and the demand for fresh lobsters keeps many lobstermen working to fulfill that demand. Buoys are used to help lobstermen find their traps. They are usually attached to either end of a string of traps. A string can hold up to forty traps, but it is most common to have from fifteen to twenty.
