Many philanthropic education and research foundations rely on volunteer helpers to organize fundraising events, club meeting times, office hours, business matters, events, community programs, and more. Such foundations are often funded with state or national grants, allowing for the association to provide a valuable service to the community. Many philanthropic education and research foundations directories list thousands of public and private associations and nonprofit foundations, searchable by location, name and address, size, statistics, non-profit or for-profit status, services, or meetings and seminars.
